The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carlos Eduardo Loureiro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 11th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Valdomiro Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Cagado SS's Marco Duarte shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 27th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Valdomiro Montenegro but with some difficulty. In the last second Valdomiro Montenegro throw himself and got hold of the ball when Carlos Eduardo Loureiro in the 28thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Luís Eduardo Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Eduardo Loureiro scored 2-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdomiro Montenegro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Durval Sampaio fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cagado SS's protests and gave Durval Sampaio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, Durval Sampaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The wind increased when Gabriel Coutinho made the kick off in the second half. After 59 played minutes Batuque FC got a freekick which was hit by Hernani Dias. After 60 minutes, Carlos Eduardo Loureiro made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Batuque FC's Valdomiro Montenegro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Batuque FC booed when Cagado SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wellington Palmeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. César Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Coutinho in the 85th minute of the match. Durval Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Valdomiro Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. César Britto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vitinho Carvalho went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Dida Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cagado SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Dida Alves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdomiro Montenegro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cagado SS had played much better football throughout.
