Willian Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Cavalcante in the 18th minute of play. Carlos Alberto da Cunha received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Agnaldo Catarinense came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlos Alberto da Cunha slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. In the 25thth minute of the game Carlos Alberto da Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jurupari EC's Agnaldo Catarinense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Luciano de Mendonça was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pindobal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jurupari EC the free kick. A collision led to Pindobal FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Luciano de Mendonça hit a great ball. Claudinho Cavalcante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Willian Hermes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. If Haroldo Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th match minute, Jurupari EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robinho Prestes to maneuver through the defense. Agnaldo Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. A collision led to Jurupari EC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Claudinho Cavalcante hit a great ball. Agnaldo Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Alberto da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The supporters of Pindobal FC booed when Jurupari EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 58 minutes of play, Pindobal FC's Carlos Alberto da Cunha made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Agnaldo Catarinense was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ramiro Massa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agnaldo Catarinense having to interfere. Haroldo Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Willian Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Willian Hermes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudinho Cavalcante's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. After having played for 73 minutes, Carlos Alberto da Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pindobal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Alberto da Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ramiro Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute, Haroldo Secco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Jurupari EC's zone, Ramiro Massa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agnaldo Catarinense came out of the goal and Ramiro Massa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the match, Carlos Alberto da Cunha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Agnaldo Catarinense. Jurupari EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Alberto da Cunha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The supporters of Jurupari EC booed when Pindobal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Jurupari EC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Massa came free, but Agnaldo Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Kiko Fernandes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pindobal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jurupari EC the free kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Jurupari EC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pindobal FC.
