Naldo Lopes made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Wellington Cosme sent off a good shot on target. Luiz Gustavo Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Naldo Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Ronaldão Negri made a precise shot to the right of Reinaldo Meireles. Lamina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Luiz Fernando Cardozo kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Álvaro Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Quadrada getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Delfim Miranda hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Luiz Gustavo Ramalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ronaldão Negri scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reinaldo Meireles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Quadrada's Zé Pedro Mumbach got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 31stth minute of the game Álvaro Marquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lamina's Reinaldo Meireles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Reinaldo Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldão Negri in the 35th minute of the match. After having played for 36 minutes, Álvaro Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quadrada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Álvaro Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lamina's Reinaldo Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldão Negri in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Lamina getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Tiago Gabriel da Costa hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Tomé Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Lamina's zone, Ronaldão Negri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reinaldo Meireles came out of the goal and Ronaldão Negri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ronaldão Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reinaldo Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronaldão Negri was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lamina! When Álvaro Marquez, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 56 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Reinaldo Meireles was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Ronaldão Negri in the 58th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 59 played minutes Lamina got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Porto. Lamina's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Ronaldão Negri scored to the left of an out of position Reinaldo Meireles, making the score, 1-3. Ronaldão Negri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Quadrada's Ronaldão Negri in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lamina's goalie prevented a goal. Lamina's Tomé Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Lamina supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Quadrada's performance. The match ended with a win for Quadrada.
