A collision led to Metal FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Vitório de Souza hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Touros FC's zone, Giuseppe Britto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ian Barros came out of the goal and Giuseppe Britto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vitório de Souza during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 31 played minutes Metal FC got a freekick which was hit by Vitório de Souza. Giuseppe Britto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Barros having to interfere. With his leg Ian Barros managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Metal FC's Giuseppe Britto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gildo Paraense to make the kick off. Metal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giuseppe Britto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gildo Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ian Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Luizinho Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the game, Gildo Paraense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ian Barros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 82 minutes into the match, Touros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giuseppe Britto came free, but Ian Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Metal FC's Gildo Paraense got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ian Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe Britto, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Sandrinho Arantes notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Touros FC's Ian Barros. Ian Barros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ian Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Britto in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Metal FC fully deserved thier win.
