Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lino Tavares made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6thth minute of the game Lino Tavares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uacari AD's Jairo Souto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iracema's Lino Tavares got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the game, Carlos Alberto Favoretto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Iracema's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uacari AD the free kick. The supporters of Uacari AD booed when Iracema was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Alberto Favoretto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guga Varela took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ricardinho Fernandes. Iracema's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Uacari AD's Dionísio Queiroz got a free kick in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Tavares in the 24th minute of play forced Uacari AD's goalkeeper Jairo Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lino Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rogério de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jairo Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Raimundo Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aírton Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardinho Fernandes having to interfere. The long shot by Aníbal Berger in the 44th minute really tested Jairo Souto's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elivélton Pernambucano to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Iracema's Aníbal Berger got a free kick in the 54th minute. Ricardinho Fernandes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aírton Pernambucano in the 55th minute. If Rogério de Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Uacari AD's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Guerra came free, but Jairo Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Alberto Favoretto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Iracema's goalkeeper Ricardinho Fernandes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Fernando Ribeiro. Jairo Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Guerra in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Emerson Peres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aírton Pernambucano took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardinho Fernandes. Ricardinho Fernandes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Iracema were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
