Ernani Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Pedrão Prado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Almir Brito in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedrão Prado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Maracaja getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Délio Palmeira hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Piramboia EC's Vito Severo got a free kick in the 30th minute. Ernani Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Pedrão Prado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedrão Prado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maracaja's Benjamin Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Almir Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrão Prado having to interfere. Cido de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Maracaja defense, Deivid Soares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doni Mangueira. The Maracaja fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doni Mangueira should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Deivid Soares made the kick off in the second half. Ernani Ramalho might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedrão Prado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernani Ramalho ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Almir Brito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedrão Prado was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Almir Brito in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedrão Prado saved Piramboia EC from getting behind. Doni Mangueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid Soares in the 62nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Deivid Soares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Doni Mangueira was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 68thth minute of the game Ernani Ramalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piramboia EC's Pedrão Prado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ernani Ramalho scored 1-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedrão Prado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 74th minute, João Augusto Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 76 minutes, Ernani Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maracaja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernani Ramalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Maracaja's Almir Brito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedrão Prado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Ernani Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Almir Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Pedrão Prado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernani Ramalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maracaja's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
