Válbson Koehler helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Itapecoa AD's Válbson Koehler got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Gustavo Ribeiro struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Nicolas Zanette didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maracai. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maurinho Silveira during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benedito da Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Kiko Marques made a huge save. 20 minutes into the game, César Ramos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maracai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itapecoa AD the free kick. Kiko Marques made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Benedito da Silva sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Válbson Machado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kiko Marques was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 32nd minute Genílson Faustino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Genílson Faustino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Zanette having to interfere. Nicolas Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Ribeiro in the 37th minute of play. Maracai's Kiko Marques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Maracai from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válbson Machado in the 42nd minute of play forced Maracai's goalkeeper Kiko Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Válbson Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiko Marques having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustavo Ribeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Maracai's goal looked a bit too open when Cesinha Paulista came free, but Kiko Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válbson Machado in the 56th minute of play forced Maracai's goalkeeper Kiko Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Válbson Machado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itapecoa AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 69th minute Benedito da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiko Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Cesinha Paulista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 76 played minutes Itapecoa AD got a freekick which was hit by Chico Soares. After 78 minutes of play Maracai's Júlio Matorin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 79 played minutes Maracai got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Matorin. In the 82ndth minute of the game Válbson Machado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maracai's Kiko Marques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Maracai's goalkeeper Kiko Marques, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Válbson Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itapecoa AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Válbson Machado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kiko Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 92 played minutes Maracai got a freekick which was hit by César Ramos. If Benedito da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kiko Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson Machado in the 95th minute of the match.
