Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gustavo Ribeiro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gustavo Ribeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tibúrcio Urbano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. If Genílson Faustino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tibúrcio Urbano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Ribeiro's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Raphael Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seabra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maracai the free kick. After 13 played minutes Seabra got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Costa. 21 minutes into the game, Maracai's Genílson Faustino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tibúrcio Urbano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Diamantino Arantes shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Gustavo Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maracai's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Ribeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tibúrcio Urbano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 34 minutes, Genílson Faustino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maracai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genílson Faustino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Gustavo Ribeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Tibúrcio Urbano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tibúrcio Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genílson Faustino in the 42nd minute of the match. The Seabra players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Maracai were winning 0-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hortêncio Montenegro to strike the kick off in the second half. Gustavo Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tibúrcio Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Ribeiro in the 60th minute of play. When Maracai's Gustavo Ribeiro in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Seabra's goalie prevented a goal. If Gustavo Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovânio Breckenfeld hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Júlio Palmeira from long distance, 72 minutes into the match, got Tibúrcio Urbano's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Maurinho Silveira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tibúrcio Urbano. Seabra's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 89th minute Tadeu da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiko Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pedrinho Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Seabra supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Maracai's performance. The match ended with a win for Maracai.
