Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Belmiro Brasil kicked off to start the match. Gilvan Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jequitahy SC's Álvaro Torres in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quixobeira SS's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Quixobeira SS getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Belmiro Brasil hit a great ball. Diamantino Lara came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Jequitahy SC's Gilvan Proença. But to his dismay, Gilvan Proença quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Diamantino Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto Pirani in the 18th minute of the match. Jonas Severo charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Severo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Diamantino Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto Pirani in the 24th minute of the match. Belmiro Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelsinho Lopes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilvan Proença in the 30th minute of play forced Quixobeira SS's goalkeeper Diamantino Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Durval Diniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Nelsinho Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilvan Proença blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diamantino Lara having to make a save. In the 37th minute, Álvaro Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nelsinho Lopes made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Durval Diniz sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilvan Proença made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Quixobeira SS got a freekick which was hit by Andrézinho Bueno. In the 56th minute, Didi Capixaba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilvan Proença could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Diamantino Lara made a huge save. In the 65th match minute, Quixobeira SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yuri Rossi to maneuver through the defense. Gilvan Proença who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Diamantino Lara when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Quixobeira SS getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jonas Severo hit a great ball. Belmiro Brasil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilvan Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Lara having to interfere. Beto Pirani was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 92 minutes of play, Jequitahy SC's Gilvan Proença made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diamantino Lara was left in no man's land by his defense there! 95 minutes into the game, Gilvan Proença cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Diamantino Lara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over Jequitahy SC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Quixobeira SS throughout the match.
