Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Andrézinho Velloso got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gaivotas SS's goalkeeper Léo Gomes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Léo Gomes made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Felippe Maranhense sent off a good shot on target. When Armindo Mumbach fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gerencia's protests and gave Armindo Mumbach a yellow card for diving instead. Armindo Mumbach hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Gerencia's Armindo Mumbach got a free kick in the 8th minute. Léo Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrézinho Velloso in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Gerencia booed when Gaivotas SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Favoretto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute Naldo Paes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulisses Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naldo Paes in the 22nd minute of play forced Gerencia's goalkeeper Ulisses Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Igor Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Gerencia's Armindo Mumbach got a free kick in the 28th minute. Gerencia's Ulisses Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Favoretto in the 33rd minute of play. Felippe Maranhense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrézinho Velloso in the 39th minute of play forced Gaivotas SS's goalkeeper Léo Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrézinho Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Léo Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelo Favoretto made a kick off. Naldo Paes got in the 54th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ulisses Gerber handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Gerencia's goalkeeper Ulisses Gerber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Naldo Paes. Marcelo Favoretto did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Ulisses Gerber 63 minutes into the match. Léo Gomes came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gerencia's Felippe Maranhense. But to his dismay, Felippe Maranhense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After having played for 75 minutes, Felippe Maranhense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gerencia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felippe Maranhense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felippe Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th match minute, Gaivotas SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caio Messias to maneuver through the defense. Andrézinho Velloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Andrézinho Velloso came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Gerencia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrézinho Velloso couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Gerencia booed when Gaivotas SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulão de Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulisses Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Favoretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Gerencia's goalkeeper Ulisses Gerber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Naldo Paes. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
