Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Andrézinho Velloso kicked off to start the match. Cacá Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Ulisses Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Percival Schmidt might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulisses Gerber. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Percival Schmidt ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cacá Chaves in the 11th minute of play forced Gerencia's goalkeeper Ulisses Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cacá Chaves hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Kléberson Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrézinho Velloso in the 16th minute of the match. Ulisses Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percival Schmidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Percival Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ulisses Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percival Schmidt in the 21st minute of play forced Gerencia's goalkeeper Ulisses Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute of the match Tarcisio Guerra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kléberson Reis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Gerencia's Andrézinho Velloso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kléberson Reis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guaipava FC's Kléberson Reis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Guaipava FC from getting a goal against them. Felippe Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Kléberson Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felippe Maranhense who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Kléberson Reis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cacá Chaves might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulisses Gerber. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cacá Chaves ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gerencia's goalkeeper Ulisses Gerber, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felippe Maranhense charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felippe Maranhense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Guaipava FC booed when Gerencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felippe Maranhense didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
After having played for 53 minutes, Felippe Maranhense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gerencia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felippe Maranhense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Gerencia's goal looked a bit too open when Cacá Chaves came free, but Ulisses Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gerencia's zone, Percival Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulisses Gerber came out of the goal and Percival Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulisses Gerber stood somewhat misplaced when Cacá Chaves came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 62 minute. Cacá Chaves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulisses Gerber having to make a save. In the 70th minute, Andrézinho Velloso made a precise shot to the right of Kléberson Reis. Guaipava FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Cacá Chaves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ulisses Gerber. That made the score 1-2 in the 76 minute of play. Percival Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ulisses Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrézinho Velloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléberson Reis having to interfere. Felippe Maranhense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kléberson Reis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. When Giovanni Cabral fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guaipava FC's protests and gave Giovanni Cabral a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, Giovanni Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerencia's Andrézinho Velloso got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Guaipava FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
