Timoteo AD's Zacarias Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João de Alcântara in the 11th minute of play. Luís Gustavo de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Kauan Dantas could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Luís Gustavo de Senna however easily saved by the left post. Luís Gustavo de Senna made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Danilo Marques sent off a good shot on target. Zacarias Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Décio Barros in the 38th minute of play. After 43 minutes, Cauan Gonçalves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laranjo EC and the Timoteo AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Laranjo EC's Cauan Gonçalves got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Luís Gustavo de Senna was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Danilo Marques capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Danilo Marques really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 52nd minute, Danilo Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antônio Carlos Quintal kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Vítor Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Custódio Pinheiro hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After 66th play minutes Vítor Paraense shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Zacarias Toledo and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Danilo Marques sped through Laranjo EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luís Gustavo de Senna. Danilo Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Luís Gustavo de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Timoteo AD booed when Laranjo EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Décio Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kauan Dantas's late challenge caught a Laranjo EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kauan Dantas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th match minute, Timoteo AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauan Dantas to maneuver through the defense. João de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Zacarias Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laranjo EC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
