Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fernando Galvão kicked off to start the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Fernando Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quatoquara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Galvão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Goianira's Adalmo do Valle got a free kick in the 8th minute. Albertinho Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruninho Pinheiro having to interfere. If Fernando Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quatoquara's Sydney Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleandro de Brito in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute Aleandro de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sydney Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sydney Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséas Galvão in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Goianira's goalkeeper Bruninho Pinheiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Galvão. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Goianira's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Galvão came free, but Bruninho Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruninho Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Galvão, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Albertinho Paulista took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruninho Pinheiro. Bruninho Pinheiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Goianira's Eusébio Vale got a free kick in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Oséas Galvão made the kick off in the second half. Fernando Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Custódio Pimenta charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Custódio Pimenta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Quatoquara getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Custódio Pimenta hit a great ball. Albertinho Paulista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Bruninho Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aleandro de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fernando Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Goianira's Bruninho Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Galvão in the 72nd minute of play. Fernando Galvão struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Bruninho Pinheiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quatoquara. When Oséas Galvão came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Goianira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oséas Galvão couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd match minute, Goianira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Vale to maneuver through the defense. Bruninho Pinheiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Galvão went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Quatoquara players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
