Wágner Braga started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Emburrado's goal looked a bit too open when Dino de Azevedo came free, but Kauan Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabino Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gugu Penha's late challenge caught a Oriental SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gugu Penha helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Emburrado getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Gugu Penha hit a great ball. Wágner Braga was extremely unlucky when he, in the 11th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Wágner Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Magno Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Magno Nogueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Víktor Lucas in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Víktor Lucas got free with Magno Nogueira in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino de Azevedo in the 23rd minute of play forced Emburrado's goalkeeper Kauan Terra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magno Nogueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Víktor Lucas in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute, Jeferson Saraiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gugu Penha couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute Sabino Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauan Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Víktor Lucas got free with Magno Nogueira in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Magno Nogueira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gugu Penha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 48 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sabino Fontes made a kick off. Kauan Terra had great luck who in the 55thth minute grab hold of the ball when Sabino Fontes from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Víktor Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magno Nogueira having to interfere. The supporters of Oriental SC booed when Emburrado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dino de Azevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Kauan Terra made a huge save. If Víktor Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dino de Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Oriental SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dino de Azevedo couldn't finish the play.
