Jeremias Simões's shot from long distance in the 11th minute was not bad at all, but Iabete FC's Chiquinho Magalhães knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After a rather tough play, Emburrado's Gugu Penha got a free kick in the 12th minute. Emburrado's Kauan Terra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elivélton Melo in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Emburrado's Kléberson Galvão got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 27th minute of the match Luís Guilherme Urbano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kauan Terra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Albertino Bastos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kauan Terra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Jeremias Simões hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 33 played minutes Emburrado got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Simões. Ronaldo Gomes's late challenge caught a Emburrado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronaldo Gomes helped the player get up and apologised. Wágner Braga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chiquinho Magalhães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Albertino Bastos struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Kauan Terra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iabete FC. 46 minutes into the match, Iabete FC's Albertino Bastos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kauan Terra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Emburrado's goal looked a bit too open when Albertino Bastos came free, but Kauan Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Kauan Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertino Bastos in the 59th minute of play. If Wágner Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62ndth minute of the game Wágner Braga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Iabete FC's Chiquinho Magalhães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Elivélton Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Víktor Lucas in the 76th minute of play forced Iabete FC's goalkeeper Chiquinho Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elivélton Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 79 played minutes Emburrado got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Paiva. Kauan Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertino Bastos in the 87th minute of play. After 87 played minutes Emburrado got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Simões. Emburrado's Kauan Terra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Emburrado from getting a goal against them. Kauan Terra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertino Bastos, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Gugu Penha kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Alan Ribeiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kauan Terra quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
