Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Evaristo Torres kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by William Meireles during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ventura AD's Pedro Luís Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emílio de Queiroz in the 7th minute of play. Samuca Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Simão Alves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Azevedo in the 10th minute. Benê de Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Pedro Luís Ceresso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Washington Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Azevedo got free with Simão Alves in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Evaristo Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ventura AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Evaristo Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simão Alves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was beautiful to see Saboga FC's William Meireles in action when he in the 31st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Emílio de Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Pedro Luís Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emílio de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ventura AD's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Ceresso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emílio de Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Torres in the 47th minute of play forced Saboga FC's goalkeeper Simão Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emílio de Queiroz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Ventura AD's zone, Emílio de Queiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luís Ceresso came out of the goal and Emílio de Queiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ventura AD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Emílio de Queiroz scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Luís Ceresso, making the score, 0-1. Simão Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emílio de Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Pedro Luís Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simão Alves came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Ventura AD's Humberto Azevedo. But to his dismay, Humberto Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Humberto Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Alves having to interfere. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ventura AD's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Ceresso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute of the match, Washington Teles got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pedro Luís Ceresso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Evaristo Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
