Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sydney de Carvalho made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 6th minute of the match Samuca Trigo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anísio Linares skillfully saved the ball. After 8 minutes of play, Lemon Haze FC's Sydney de Carvalho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simão Alves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Simão Alves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sydney de Carvalho's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Saboga FC's zone, Vivaldo Cabral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simão Alves came out of the goal and Vivaldo Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simão Alves came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Lemon Haze FC's Sydney de Carvalho. But to his dismay, Sydney de Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 20thth minute of the game Sydney de Carvalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saboga FC's Simão Alves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sydney de Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Valdir da Rocha took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Simão Alves. Saboga FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 25thth minute of the game Sydney de Carvalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saboga FC's Simão Alves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sydney de Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Sydney de Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lemon Haze FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sydney de Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simão Alves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39thth minute of the game Sydney de Carvalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saboga FC's Simão Alves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emílio de Queiroz was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th match minute, Saboga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmílson Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Vivaldo Cabral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simão Alves. Saboga FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vivaldo Cabral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Saboga FC's Washington Teles got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Saboga FC's William Meireles got a free kick in the 64th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Sydney de Carvalho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Simão Alves. That made the score 0-6 in the 66 minute of play. With his leg Simão Alves managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Lemon Haze FC's Sydney de Carvalho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio de Queiroz in the 74th minute of play forced Lemon Haze FC's goalkeeper Anísio Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anísio Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio de Queiroz in the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Sydney de Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 84th match minute, Saboga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Massa to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute Emílio de Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anísio Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Eduardo Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Luís Massa kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Cauan Moraes hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Anísio Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Washington Teles in the 91st minute of play. Lemon Haze FC's Vivaldo Cabral got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The throw-in from Edmílson Ramalho in the 96th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Lemon Haze FC's Alessandro Simões. When Lemon Haze FC's Sydney de Carvalho in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saboga FC's goalie prevented a goal.
