The supporters of Aracazinho booed when Muzambinho EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Catarinense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Muzambinho EC's David Trigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Muzambinho EC from getting a goal against them. When Richard Neves came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Aracazinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richard Neves couldn't finish the play. Marcelo Carioca hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. David Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Neves in the 65th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorginho da Mata in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Trigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the match, Aracazinho's Richard Neves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Trigo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Carioca during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 73 played minutes Muzambinho EC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Carioca. Jorginho da Mata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Aracazinho walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
