After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Matheus Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aracas SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matheus Freitas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Trigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. David Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natã Urbano in the 20th minute of play. When Aracas SC's Váldson Velloso in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 44thth minute of the game Matheus Freitas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Muzambinho EC's David Trigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. David Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matheus Freitas in the 46th minute of the match. Délio Maciel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With his leg David Trigo managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Aracas SC's Váldson Velloso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Váldson Vellosos short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got David Trigo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 58th minute Délio Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Váldson Velloso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but David Trigo made a huge save. When Gernando Favoretto came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Aracas SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gernando Favoretto couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matheus Freitas in the 73rd minute of play forced Muzambinho EC's goalkeeper David Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonçalo Catarinense hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Váldson Velloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Trigo having to interfere. After having played for 82 minutes, Gernando Favoretto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aracas SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gernando Favoretto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Matheus Freitas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A hard shot 85 in the game by Váldson Velloso from a close distance when the talented David Trigo managed to make a qualified save. Muzambinho EC's players were relieved. Váldson Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. David Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matheus Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute, Váldson Velloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aracas SC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
