Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Paripiranga's Rafinha Bittencourt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute, Douglas Dracena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cafu Fantini struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Jairo Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Junccao. In the 14th minute Cafu Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Fantini in the 17th minute of play. When Teodoro Fontes came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Paripiranga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Fontes couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, Cafu Fantini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jairo Fonseca. Paripiranga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cafu Fantini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some careless play in the Paripiranga defense, Douglas Dracena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Fonseca. The Paripiranga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Fonseca should have stopped the shot. Cafu Fantini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jairo Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Fantini in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Paripiranga's Percy Guerra got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute, Douglas Dracena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jairo Fonseca was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The Paripiranga players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Junccao were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Douglas Dracena made the kick off in the second half. Rafinha Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Armindo Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jairo Fonseca made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Cafu Fantini sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes into the match, Junccao's goal looked a bit too open when Rafinha Bittencourt came free, but Armindo Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Paripiranga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Breckenfeld to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute of the match Percy Guerra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armindo Vides skillfully saved the ball. In the 75th minute, Rafinha Bittencourt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armindo Vides was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In a very dangerous position, a player in Paripiranga fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! In the 87th match minute, Junccao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Víktor Simões to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Rafinha Bittencourt sped through Junccao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Armindo Vides. Paripiranga's Teodoro Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Junccao players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
