Willian Botelho hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Teodoro Fontes struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Elias Pombal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paripiranga. Elias Pombal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafinha Bittencourt's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute of the match Rodolfo Carioca sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jairo Fonseca skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Artur Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Biriguy's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Bezerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairo Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Willian Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jairo Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Biriguy's Rodolfo Carioca shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 17th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jairo Fonseca but with some difficulty. After a rather tough play, Paripiranga's Teodoro Fontes got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Rafinha Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Pombal having to interfere. Enéas Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Elias Pombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elias Pombal came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Paripiranga's Teodoro Fontes. But to his dismay, Teodoro Fontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Enéas Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Elias Pombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Fontes in the 39th minute of play. Paripiranga's Jairo Fonseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Paripiranga from getting a goal against them. Igor Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Biriguy booed when Paripiranga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percy Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 49th minute, Ramiro Vides made a precise shot to the right of Jairo Fonseca. Paripiranga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafinha Bittencourt made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Elias Pombal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Zé Paulo Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Percy Guerra sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Biriguy's Elias Pombal didn't even have to move. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Paripiranga's goalkeeper Jairo Fonseca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Willian Botelho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Biriguy's supporters rose to their feet, but Willian Botelho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 79th minute, Willian Botelho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jairo Fonseca was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enéas de Amaral during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Paripiranga! An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Fonseca in the 91st minute of play forced Paripiranga's goalkeeper Jairo Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Willian Botelho struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Jairo Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Biriguy.
