Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dráusio Vander made the kick off which started today's match. Jorginho Perez hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Chiquinho Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Estrias's Jorginho Perez got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dráusio Vander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Donatello Leão made a huge save. Alexsandro Azevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donatello Leão having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hortêncio Cunha during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hortêncio Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Dráuzio Pereira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Imbaubas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Sandrinho Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chiquinho Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Olavo de Andrade fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estrias's protests and gave Olavo de Andrade a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Imbaubas booed when Estrias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olavo de Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Imbaubas's Donatello Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Imbaubas from getting a goal against them.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chiquinho Batista was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Estrias got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Perez. After a rather tough play, Estrias's Geovanni Veloso got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Estrias's zone, Duda Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandrinho Veloso came out of the goal and Duda Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 54 minutes, Zé de Almeida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Imbaubas and the Estrias players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Estrias booed when Imbaubas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Imbaubas's Dráuzio Pereira came free and shot a quick shot against goal 57 minutes in the game, fortunately Sandrinho Veloso had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 58thth minute of the game Dráuzio Pereira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estrias's Sandrinho Veloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Donatello Leão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dráusio Vander's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. If Ricardo de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alexsandro Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Estrias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexsandro Azevedo couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the game, Dráusio Vander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Donatello Leão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Donatello Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavo de Andrade in the 70th minute of play. Alexsandro Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Donatello Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donatello Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo de Godoi in the 75th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Imbaubas's zone, Dráusio Vander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donatello Leão came out of the goal and Dráusio Vander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Dráusio Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexsandro Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donatello Leão having to interfere. Alexsandro Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Donatello Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 played minutes Imbaubas got a freekick which was hit by Zé de Almeida. In the 96th minute Dráusio Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donatello Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Imbaubas succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Estrias had controlled the match.
