Germano Tepedino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erik de Barros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Afonsinho Simões notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Comocoxico EC's Adriano Mello. Adriano Mello was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gualter Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Comocoxico EC's Thomás da Fonseca got a free kick in the 76th minute. Germano Tepedino struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Erik de Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Comocoxico EC. Germano Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik de Barros having to interfere. After 91 minutes of play, Comocoxico EC's Germano Tepedino made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erik de Barros was left in no man's land by his defense there!
