Christiano Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Ramalho having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Percy Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Sebastião Secco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carmo AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastião Secco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Secco in the 78th minute of play forced Atlantis's goalkeeper Sidney da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, David Baptista made a precise shot to the right of Sidney da Costa. Atlantis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. David Baptista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sidney da Costa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Wilian Bertassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Percy Simões struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Marcel Ramalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlantis. Atlantis were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
