Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tiago Gabriel Ortiz started the match with the kick off. Geovanni Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué da Costa in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute of the match Tabao FC got a corner. Emparedado's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Toninho Souto ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Emparedado booed when Tabao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Francisco Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Luiz Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 minutes of play, Tabao FC's Josué da Costa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovanni Pirani was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 17 played minutes Emparedado got a freekick which was hit by Tibúrcio Goiano. In the 19th minute, Sandrinho Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Luiz Rosa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Chico Dante charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chico Dante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Chico Dante kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeremias Ferreira during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If João Francisco Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Rosa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tiago Gabriel Ortiz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 30 minute of play. After 38 minutes of play, Tabao FC's Christiano Valle made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christiano Valle to make the kick off. Luiz Rosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Francisco Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Roberto Maranhense's late challenge caught a Tabao FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Maranhense helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Emparedado's Roberto Maranhense got a free kick in the 56th minute. Christiano Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Pirani having to interfere. Geovanni Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Valle in the 62nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, João Francisco Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Emparedado's supporters rose to their feet, but João Francisco Batista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Rosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chico Dante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Josué da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Tabao FC's Christiano Valle slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Geovanni Pirani. That made the score 1-3 after 82 minutes of play. If Christiano Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Daniel Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Toninho Souto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tabao FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
