In the 10th minute, Uruoca's Isaltino das Neves ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roberto Aguiar. Roberto Aguiar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Tarrafas FC's Roberto Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaltino das Neves in the 14th minute of play. In the 18thth minute of the game Isaltino das Neves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tarrafas FC's Roberto Aguiar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Geovani Bueno kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Isaltino das Neves fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Hugo Zanette hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. If Isaltino das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Tarrafas FC's Sidney Ribeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benedito Hoffmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Uruoca's Benedito Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Ribeiro in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute Isaltino das Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaltino das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaltino das Neves to strike the kick off in the second half. Benedito Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidney Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Sidney Ribeiro had several of the Uruoca's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 54 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Benedito Hoffmann as he didn't even see the shot coming. Vágner Fernandez hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Benedito Hoffmann made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Rui Gaúcho sent off a good shot on target. Uruoca's Benedito Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Ribeiro in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Tarrafas FC booed when Uruoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geraldo Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tarrafas FC's Roberto Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaltino das Neves in the 73rd minute of play. Uruoca's Isaltino das Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Tarrafas FC's Geovani Bueno got a free kick in the 76th minute. Alessandro Sarmento, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Vítor Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benedito Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidney Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Benedito Hoffmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaltino das Neves in the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Vítor Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vítor Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Roberto Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vítor Carneiro in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto Aguiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
