Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gonçalo Paraense kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Nelsinho de Amaral made a precise shot to the right of Perivaldo Abreu. Carajazinho SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelsinho de Amaral in the 7th minute of play forced Carajazinho SS's goalkeeper Perivaldo Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Aírton Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nelsinho de Amaral in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Perivaldo Abreu saved Carajazinho SS from getting behind. William Soeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carajazinho SS's goalkeeper Perivaldo Abreu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Desportiva Guarabira's attentive William Soeiro managed to snatch the ball when Nicolas Carioca made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. 19 minutes into the match, Carajazinho SS's goal looked a bit too open when Elivélton Amorim came free, but Perivaldo Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diamantino Reis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 21st playminute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Carajazinho SS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Desportiva Guarabira. Nelsinho de Amaral stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Perivaldo Abreu. 1-2. Nelsinho de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perivaldo Abreu having to interfere. Kléberson Castro struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Perivaldo Abreu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Desportiva Guarabira. After some careless play in the Carajazinho SS defense, Reginaldo Dionísio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Perivaldo Abreu. The Carajazinho SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Perivaldo Abreu should have stopped the shot. When Nelsinho de Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Desportiva Guarabira's protests and gave Nelsinho de Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Desportiva Guarabira getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Nelsinho de Amaral hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the game, Carajazinho SS's Diamantino Reis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mário Peres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After the first half Desportiva Guarabira were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

54 minutes into the match, Carajazinho SS's goalkeeper Perivaldo Abreu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nelsinho de Amaral. In the 56th minute, Nelsinho de Amaral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Desportiva Guarabira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Nelsinho de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Desportiva Guarabira's Nelsinho de Amaral in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carajazinho SS's goalie prevented a goal. 73 minutes into the match, Reginaldo Dionísio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Perivaldo Abreu, 2-5. Gonçalo Paraense hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Nelsinho de Amaral's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Perivaldo Abreu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If William Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 played minutes Carajazinho SS got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Carioca. Desportiva Guarabira's Mário Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Paraense in the 85th minute of play. Gonçalo Paraense took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mário Peres. Mário Peres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-5. Perivaldo Abreu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nelsinho de Amaral's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded Desportiva Guarabira left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Carajazinho SS.
