Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 6th minute Pedrinho Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Iuna getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Carlinhos Lago hit a great ball. Elói Prata's late challenge caught a Iuna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elói Prata helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes Defuntos AD got a freekick which was hit by Elói Prata. In the 18th minute, Virgílio Aguiar sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Defuntos AD's Vito de Lara didn't even have to move. Iuna's Válter Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Defuntos AD's Tomás de Almeida got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Válter Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Vito de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 35th minute of the match Elói Prata completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Elói Prata a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Válter Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Vito de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Tomás de Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Defuntos AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Iuna the free kick. In the 47th minute of the match Iuna got a corner. Defuntos AD's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Virgílio Aguiar ran over to the corner to take the kick. Virgílio Aguiar made a great header on Iuna's corner, it was just that Defuntos AD's Vito de Lara managed to reach the ball for a save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Álvaro Garcia to strike the kick off in the second half. During the 53rd minute of the match Tomás de Almeida completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tomás de Almeida a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Pedrinho Britto struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Vito de Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iuna. 59 minutes into the game, Álvaro Garcia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Defuntos AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Iuna the free kick. The supporters of Iuna booed when Defuntos AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Válter Toledo came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Iuna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Válter Toledo couldn't finish the play. If Válter Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugênio Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Vito de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Defuntos AD getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Zé Augusto Simão hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Defuntos AD's zone, Válter Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vito de Lara came out of the goal and Válter Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute, Raúl Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vito de Lara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Válter Toledo in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Pedrinho Britto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eugênio Sá had several of the Defuntos AD's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 86 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Vito de Lara as he didn't even see the shot coming. Vito de Lara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Válter Toledo in the 91st minute. If Válter Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iuna played a much better game than Defuntos AD and deserved their victory. The Defuntos AD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
