Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dagoberto Martins made the kick off which started today's match. Vítor Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luís Pimenta having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Virgílio Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute, Dagoberto Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anselmo Moraes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of André Luís Pimenta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Anselmo Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Laerte Pernambucano notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ituano's Vítor Recife. Vítor Recife was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge de Azevedo during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 35 minutes into the match, Ituano's goal looked a bit too open when Laerte Pernambucano came free, but Vítor Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ituano's Anselmo Moraes in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anselmo Moraes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Moraes in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Luís Pimenta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anselmo Moraes struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. André Luís Pimenta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ituano. In the 61st match minute, Quintinos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Eger to maneuver through the defense. André Luís Pimenta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anselmo Moraes's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Jorge de Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. André Luís Pimenta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Claudinho Arósio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Anselmo Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Quintinos's zone, Jorge de Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Luís Pimenta came out of the goal and Jorge de Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Dagoberto Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quintinos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dagoberto Martins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Ituano getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Miguel Pontes hit a great ball. Anselmo Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. André Luís Pimenta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Vítor Guerra came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Ituano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Guerra couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Quintinos's zone, Vítor Guerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Luís Pimenta came out of the goal and Vítor Guerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Luís Pimenta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anselmo Moraes's shot from short distance in the 97th minute.
