A hard shot 3 in the game by Nicolas Cabral from a close distance when the talented Diego Salgado managed to make a qualified save. Mambuquinha SC's players were relieved. Perivaldo de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Elói Gerber charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elói Gerber the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th match minute, Mambuquinha SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elói Gerber to maneuver through the defense. Magno Paulista charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 11th minute, Nicolas Cabral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diego Salgado was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Haroldo Mello's late challenge caught a Suva's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haroldo Mello helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Suva booed when Mambuquinha SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Mello didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the game's 15th minute Suva's Patrick Melo took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Diego Salgado and thus the score was 3-0. Percy de Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo Fontes in the 19th minute of the match. Benê Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute, Magno Paulista reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Diego Salgado. The goal made the score 4-0. In the 31st minute, Nicolas Cabral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicolas Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Salgado having to interfere. Zé Paulo Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Percy de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Magno Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Elói Gerber struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Percy de Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mambuquinha SC. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicolas Cabral was the one to do the kick off. Nicolas Cabral took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diego Salgado. Diego Salgado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Jacinto in the 61st minute of play forced Mambuquinha SC's goalkeeper Diego Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Nicolas Cabral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diego Salgado was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. 87 minutes into the match, Suva's goalkeeper Percy de Andrade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elói Gerber. Nicolas Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Salgado having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Mambuquinha SC's Elói Gerber sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Percy de Andrade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benê Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Diego Salgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suva.
