Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Conrado de Barros got the match started through his kick off. Conrado de Barros might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cléber Tróia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Conrado de Barros ran back to his position shaking his head. Hélder Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléber Tróia having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Jococa's Conrado de Barros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cléber Tróia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Arati's Armando Reis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celso Veloso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Anísio dos Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Anísio dos Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Celso Veloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hélder Prata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celso Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anísio dos Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. Jococa's Celso Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé Motta in the 53rd minute of play. Dé Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Luís Eduardo Pontes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arati's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jococa the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Arati:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jococa:s goal. The referee gave Jococa a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by David de Mendonça, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Arati's Cléber Tróia. 1-1. The long shot by Nuno de Brito in the 62nd minute really tested Celso Veloso's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 68th minute, Hélder Prata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cléber Tróia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Hélder Prata struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Cléber Tróia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jococa. Armando Reis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Celso Veloso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Armando Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sílvio Simões charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sílvio Simões the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sílvio Simões hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. 99 minutes into the match, Jococa's David de Mendonça broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jococa's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
