Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Cadozinho SS's zone, Jairo de Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernão Castro came out of the goal and Jairo de Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Dinei Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Hawks's supporters rose to their feet, but Dinei Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernão Castro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 9 minutes, Pedrinho Peixoto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cadozinho SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrinho Peixoto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Black Hawks's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alex Gerber in the 14th minute. Haroldo Loureiro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. A collision led to Black Hawks getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Luiz Eduardo Vargas hit a great ball. Gildo Aguiar struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Albertinho Donatello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cadozinho SS. In the 24th minute, Luiz Eduardo Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo de Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinei Costa in the 32nd minute of play forced Cadozinho SS's goalkeeper Fernão Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cadozinho SS's Fernão Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Loureiro in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Peixoto in the 43rd minute of play forced Black Hawks's goalkeeper Albertinho Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The supporters of Cadozinho SS booed when Black Hawks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro do Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gildo Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedrinho Peixoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Albertinho Donatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, Haroldo Loureiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Black Hawks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cadozinho SS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Black Hawks's Haroldo Loureiro got a free kick in the 59th minute. Gildo Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Albertinho Donatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, Black Hawks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Eduardo Vargas to maneuver through the defense. Albertinho Donatello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrinho Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute.
