Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Igor Antunes made the kick off and thus started the match. When Daniel Queiroz fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Divinopolis's protests and gave Daniel Queiroz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Laranja booed when Divinopolis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Antunes in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeu Cearense saved Divinopolis from getting behind. Igor Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Tadeu Cearense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Emerson Rezende left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laranja fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 17thth minute of the game Gustavo Barreto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laranja's Douglas Velasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gustavo Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Velasco having to interfere. Otávio Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Douglas Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Divinopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Antunes came free, but Tadeu Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tadeu Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Antunes in the 28th minute of play. Divinopolis's Daniel Queiroz suffered a concussion after 29 minutes and had to leave the field. Fausto Oliveira charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fausto Oliveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fausto Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Gustavo Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The wind increased when Gustavo Barreto made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Laranja's Igor Antunes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tadeu Cearense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Valdir Alvarenga charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valdir Alvarenga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tadeu Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emerson Rezende in the 58th minute of the match. Otávio Trancoso's late challenge caught a Laranja's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Otávio Trancoso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, Otávio Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emerson Rezende took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tadeu Cearense. Tadeu Cearense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 68th minute, Igor Antunes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laranja fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. A collision led to Laranja getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Cássio Moreira hit a great ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Gustavo Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Divinopolis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Barreto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Pedro Luiz Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gustavo Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Douglas Velasco made a huge save. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Laranja were victorious despite being under pressure from Divinopolis for much of the match.
