Franklin Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvinho Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Galvao EC's goal looked a bit too open when Murillo Hames came free, but Romeu Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The attack was good, but when Silvinho Trancoso in the 12th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Silvinho Trancoso came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Galvao EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvinho Trancoso couldn't finish the play. Wiliam Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Jeferson de Lara hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Elder Arce took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Franklin Valle. Nogueira's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Silvinho Trancoso hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Silvinho Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Franklin Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sabino Valle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franklin Valle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Franklin Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvinho Trancoso might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franklin Valle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvinho Trancoso ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute Silvinho Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Romeu Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murillo Hames in the 51st minute of play. Sabino Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo José Arantes charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo José Arantes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With his leg Franklin Valle managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Galvao EC's Sabino Valle fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Natanael Quaresma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Nogueira booed when Galvao EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulisses Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Nogueira's goal looked a bit too open when Silvinho Trancoso came free, but Franklin Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nogueira's Wiliam Vides got a free kick in the 89th minute. The referee showed Jeferson de Lara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Nogueira's Franklin Valle got control of the ball when Sabino Valle tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Silvinho Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Galvao EC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
