Pinduri's Eduardo Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wágner Simões in the 22nd minute of play. Cabaceira FC's Cláudio Alvarenga suffered a concussion after 25 minutes and had to leave the field. 25 minutes into the game, Guto Sá was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pinduri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cabaceira FC the free kick. After 26 played minutes Pinduri got a freekick which was hit by Guto Sá. In the 32nd minute, Eduardo Mandrak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fausto Miranda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Arnaldo Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cabaceira FC! Eduardo Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnaldo Azevedo was the one to do the kick off. Fausto Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Azevedo in the 53rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Cabaceira FC's Fausto Miranda got control of the ball when Eduardo Mandrak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eduardo Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Miranda having to interfere. Fausto Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Arnaldo Azevedo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fausto Miranda, passed just outside the right post. Thanks to some nice moves Eduardo Mandrak could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Fausto Miranda however easily saved by the left post. In the 79th minute, Arnaldo Azevedo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fausto Miranda. The goal made the score 0-5. Gilberto Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnaldo Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Miranda having to interfere. After 95 played minutes Cabaceira FC got a freekick which was hit by Fellipe Moraes. The supporters of Cabaceira FC booed when Pinduri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Américo de Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Pinduri left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cabaceira FC.
