Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Caio de Carvalho kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Caio de Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Valdomiro Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zézinho Nogueira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orlando Araújo's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Maurício Cosme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leiu's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurício Cosme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zézinho Nogueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orlando Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zézinho Nogueira having to interfere. If Orlando Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlando Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Orlando Araújo came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Leiu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Araújo couldn't finish the play. In the 48th minute Orlando Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zézinho Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maurício Cosme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Ajura's Vicente Meirelles got a free kick in the 51st minute. 54 minutes into the match, Leiu's Maurício Cosme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zézinho Nogueira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 56 minutes of play, Ajura's Valdomiro Prado made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celsinho Teles was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 59 minutes, Zé Paulo Saldanha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leiu and the Ajura players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ajura booed when Leiu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Paulo Saldanha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes in the game, Maurício Cosme fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Zézinho Nogueira having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Ajura's goal looked a bit too open when Maurício Cosme came free, but Zézinho Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ajura's goalkeeper Zézinho Nogueira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Valdomiro Prado came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Ajura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdomiro Prado couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the match, Ajura's Valdomiro Prado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celsinho Teles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Caio de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Celsinho Teles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caio de Carvalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celsinho Teles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Valdomiro Prado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
