João Pedro Terra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Pedro Terra in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Gustavo Quaresma saved Basilio AD from getting behind. When Pedro Luís Palmeira fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Demolidores's protests and gave Pedro Luís Palmeira a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Demolidores getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Pedro Luís Palmeira hit a great ball. Marquinhos Duarte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Soeiro's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. If Cido Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiaguinho Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Gustavo Quaresma having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Pedro Terra during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Demolidores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Pedro Terra to maneuver through the defense. Luís Gustavo Quaresma came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Demolidores's Cido Maia. But to his dismay, Cido Maia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luís Gustavo Quaresma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pedro Terra in the 39th minute of play. Bebeto Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 played minutes Demolidores got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luís Palmeira. Demolidores's Pedro Luís Palmeira got his second yellow card of the match in the 45th minute. The referee ordered Pedro Luís Palmeira off the ground. A collision led to Demolidores getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Pedro Luís Palmeira hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Pedro Terra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. João Pedro Terra who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Luís Gustavo Quaresma when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 56 minutes, Bebeto Gaúcho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Demolidores and the Basilio AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bebeto Gaúcho hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. João Pedro Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cido Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 70th minute Bebeto Gaúcho suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 70 minutes, Fabiano Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Basilio AD and the Demolidores players grew even worse after the yellow card. Demolidores's Francisco de Castro was substituted for Bebeto Gaúcho. The supporters of Demolidores booed when Basilio AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Gustavo Quaresma was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Tiaguinho Barros capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tiaguinho Barros really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. João Pedro Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Demolidores's Cido Maia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Demolidores's João Pedro Terra got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Basilio AD's zone, Francisco de Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Gustavo Quaresma came out of the goal and Francisco de Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, João Pedro Terra reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luís Gustavo Quaresma. The goal made the score 0-5. Demolidores's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
