Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Matheus Cearense took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th minute, Matheus Cearense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Apore FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Edmílson Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Natã Zanette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Anísio Terra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matheus Cearense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Apore FC's goalkeeper Ramón Aguiar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nilmar Mesquita. Lino Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ramón Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Apore FC's Ramón Aguiar got control of the ball when Nilmar Mesquita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Natã Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Pinheiro in the 27th minute of play. Nilmar Mesquita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Ramón Aguiar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Osvaldo Toscano charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Osvaldo Toscano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Osvaldo Toscano hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After having played for 51 minutes, Edmílson Pinheiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apore FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmílson Pinheiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 52 played minutes Merusca AD got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Prestes. In the 54th minute, Edmílson Pinheiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Apore FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Apore FC's Ramón Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Mesquita in the 58th minute of play. A hard shot 69 in the game by Edmílson Pinheiro from a close distance when the talented Natã Zanette managed to make a qualified save. Merusca AD's players were relieved. In the 71st minute, Nilmar Mesquita made a precise shot to the right of Ramón Aguiar. Apore FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Tinoco in the 75th minute of play forced Apore FC's goalkeeper Ramón Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natã Zanette stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matheus Cearense's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. If Nilmar Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilvan Paraibano during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th minute, Gilvan Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Merusca AD's Natã Zanette proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Merusca AD from getting a goal against them. The Merusca AD supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Apore FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Apore FC.
