If Wellington Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeu Corrêas short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Hernani Valle to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 8 minutes into the match, Wellington Figueiredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruninho Fonseca. Real Brasil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wellington Figueiredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Bruninho Fonseca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cássio da Mata's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. The supporters of Industrial AD booed when Real Brasil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wellington Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruninho Fonseca having to interfere. After 16 played minutes Real Brasil got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Severo. 20 minutes into the game, Wellington Figueiredo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Bruninho Fonseca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 25 minutes into the match, Romeu Corrêa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hernani Valle. When Luís Eduardo Urbano came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Industrial AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Eduardo Urbano couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute, Geraldo de Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rubinho Queiroz fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Brasil's protests and gave Rubinho Queiroz a yellow card for diving instead. Rubinho Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Wellington Figueiredo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Bruninho Fonseca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Real Brasil players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Industrial AD were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tony Arantes to make the kick off. Industrial AD's Hernani Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Arantes in the 52nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Real Brasil defense, Luís Eduardo Urbano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruninho Fonseca. The Real Brasil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruninho Fonseca should have stopped the shot. When Tony Arantes came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Real Brasil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony Arantes couldn't finish the play. Cássio da Mata struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Bruninho Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Industrial AD. Hernani Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeu Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute, Tony Arantes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Brasil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Romeu Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Wellington Figueiredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bruninho Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio da Mata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeu Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romeu Corrêa scored 3-4 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hernani Valle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Arantes in the 85th minute of play forced Industrial AD's goalkeeper Hernani Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 minutes of play, Real Brasil's Tony Arantes made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hernani Valle was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Romeu Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Real Brasil's zone, Wellington Figueiredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruninho Fonseca came out of the goal and Wellington Figueiredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
