Rômulo Breckenfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Valle having to interfere. In the 6th minute Kauã Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernani Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute Cássio da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubens Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Industrial AD's zone, Rômulo Breckenfeld stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernani Valle came out of the goal and Rômulo Breckenfeld tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th of the match, Cássio da Mata tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Rubens Soares got in the way and made a wonderful save. After a rather tough play, Industrial AD's Tadeu Souza got a free kick in the 20th minute. Kauã Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Valle having to interfere. Hernani Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rômulo Breckenfeld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Parelhas EC's Rubens Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio da Mata in the 26th minute of play. Rômulo Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Industrial AD's Dinei Mattos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cássio da Mata blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rubens Soares having to make a save. Hernani Valle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kauã Barral went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Rômulo Breckenfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Valle having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 52nd minute Cássio da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubens Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Cássio da Mata left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Industrial AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Cássio da Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wellington Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gildo Baiano's late challenge caught a Industrial AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gildo Baiano helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes Parelhas EC got a freekick which was hit by Gildo Baiano. Rômulo Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Hernani Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Parelhas EC's Rômulo Breckenfeld slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hernani Valle. That made the score 1-2 after 87 minutes of play. In the 91st match minute, Industrial AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Eduardo Urbano to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 96 minutes, Rômulo Breckenfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parelhas EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rômulo Breckenfeld was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
