After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Gilberto Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Brasil's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Pedro Albuquerque breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilberto Amorim charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilberto Amorim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Real Brasil got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Amorim. Real Brasil's Orlando Prado shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 19th minute of play. The shot was stopped by João Pedro Albuquerque but with some difficulty. Bruninho Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Edeia's João Vítor Severo in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Brasil's goalie prevented a goal. Tony Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruninho Fonseca came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Edeia's Luís Gustavo Freire. But to his dismay, Luís Gustavo Freire quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 38th minute, Luís Gustavo Freire got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edeia's Luís Gustavo Freire got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Edeia's Alexandre Borges got a free kick in the 45th minute. Tony Arantes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Pedro Albuquerque having to make a save. With a little luck, Edeia's João Pedro Albuquerque got control of the ball when Romeu Corrêa tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Vítor Severo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Gustavo Freire got free with Bruninho Fonseca in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 58 minutes into the match, João Vítor Severo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bruninho Fonseca, 0-2. Luís Gustavo Freire struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Bruninho Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edeia. João Pedro Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Arantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Vítor Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Bruninho Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Edeia's goalkeeper João Pedro Albuquerque, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Gilberto Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Real Brasil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Amorim couldn't finish the play. Rafael Severo charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafael Severo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rafael Severo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Edeia's goalkeeper João Pedro Albuquerque, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 80 played minutes Edeia got a freekick which was hit by Maurinho de Senna. In the 82nd minute, Narciso Leme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Tony Arantes sped through Edeia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of João Pedro Albuquerque. In the 88th minute, João Vítor Severo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Edeia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. When Narciso Leme fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Edeia's protests and gave Narciso Leme a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd match minute, Edeia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Leme to maneuver through the defense. Edeia's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
