Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dinei Barbosa started the match with the kick off. When PEREBAH FC's Lúcio Donato in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Itapuca's goalie prevented a goal. Carlinhos Saldanha charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlinhos Saldanha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes, PEREBAH FC's Lúcio Donato shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Juvenal Damião came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PEREBAH FC reached it. Vitinho Palmeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elder Esteves's late challenge caught a PEREBAH FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elder Esteves helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Itapuca fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! In the 18th minute there was a penalty for PEREBAH FC. Lúcio Donato stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Juvenal Damião. 0-1. Vitinho Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Fontes in the 21st minute of the match. Juvenal Damião made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Donato in the 23rd minute of play. If Dinei Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When PEREBAH FC's Lúcio Donato in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Itapuca's goalie prevented a goal. When Carlinhos Saldanha was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 36 minutes had been played. Dinei Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Damião having to interfere. Dinei Barbosa took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juvenal Damião. Juvenal Damião dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredão Melo to make the kick off. Tiago Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Alfredão Melo took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vitinho Palmeira. Vitinho Palmeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Juvenal Damião made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Lúcio Donato sent off a good shot on target. Kauan de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute of the match Lúcio Donato shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juvenal Damião showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 77th minute, PEREBAH FC's Luizão Xavier seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luizão Xavier the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of PEREBAH FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luizão Xavier had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, PEREBAH FC's Luizão Xavier got a free kick in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in PEREBAH FC's zone, Elder Esteves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitinho Palmeira came out of the goal and Elder Esteves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juvenal Damião showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinei Barbosa in the 81st minute of the match. Alfredão Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Vitinho Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinei Barbosa in the 87th minute of play forced Itapuca's goalkeeper Juvenal Damião to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Alfredão Melo notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of PEREBAH FC's Vitinho Palmeira. Vitinho Palmeira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 94 minutes into the match, Dinei Barbosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juvenal Damião. Itapuca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dinei Barbosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
