Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Emboscada SS's Afonso Simão started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 5 minutes, Afonso Simão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Emboscada SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Simão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Adilson Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gláuber Baptista made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Natã Cunha sent off a good shot on target. Bernardinho de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Carlos Sabóia in the 18th minute of the match. Gláuber Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adilson Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Emboscada SS's goalkeeper Gláuber Baptista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natã Cunha. After 32 played minutes Emboscada SS got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Quirino. Emboscada SS's Gláuber Baptista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Emboscada SS from getting a goal against them. In the 34th match minute, Emboscada SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Quirino to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute Adilson Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gláuber Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gláuber Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adilson Melo in the 42nd minute of the match. Adilson Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gláuber Baptista having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 52 minutes of play, Vitoria's Adilson Melo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gláuber Baptista was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 54th match minute, Vitoria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Sanches to maneuver through the defense. Evandro Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Lucas Quirino tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Gláuber Baptista. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-0 in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adilson Melo in the 62nd minute of play forced Emboscada SS's goalkeeper Gláuber Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Emboscada SS defense, Natã Cunha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gláuber Baptista. The Emboscada SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gláuber Baptista should have stopped the shot. Gláuber Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adilson Melo in the 70th minute of play. Natã Cunha struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Gláuber Baptista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vitoria. Pedro Augusto Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vitoria's Conrado Sanches got a free kick in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Simão in the 82nd minute of play forced Vitoria's goalkeeper Bernardinho de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gláuber Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adilson Melo in the 84th minute of the match. Natã Cunha struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Gláuber Baptista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vitoria. If Natã Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Vitoria had played much better football throughout.
