When Fiori Sá came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Arisuel AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fiori Sá couldn't finish the play. Fiori Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Mineiro having to interfere. In the 12th match minute, Choa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Antunes to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Arisuel AD's goalkeeper Washington Braga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Célio Pitta. The corner led to Choa FC's Hamílton Brito getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Marquinhos Bezerra kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Celso Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Célio Pittas short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Washington Braga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luisinho Neto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diego Mineiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. If Celso Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fiori Sá in the 34th minute of play forced Choa FC's goalkeeper Diego Mineiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fiori Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

If Luisinho Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Choa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fiori Sá came free, but Diego Mineiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manfredo Arruda hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. A collision led to Choa FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Hamílton Brito hit a great ball. Diego Mineiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fiori Sá in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Fiori Sá recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Diego Mineiro. Fiori Sá showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. In the 83rd minute, Celso Vieira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Choa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
