If Ian Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the match, Choa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hermínio Quirino came free, but Diego Mineiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Antunes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silas Guedes having to make a save. When Pirapitinga's Ian Madureira in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Ian Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Choa FC's Acácio Maia got a free kick in the 27th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermínio Quirino in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diego Mineiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 31 minutes in the game, Celso Vieira fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Silas Guedes having to interfere. Pirapitinga's Silas Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Vieira in the 33rd minute of play. Hermínio Quirino might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diego Mineiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermínio Quirino ran back to his position shaking his head. 37 minutes into the game, Ian Madureira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Diego Mineiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vladimir Duarte hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The supporters of Choa FC booed when Pirapitinga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Lucas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Célio Pitta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silas Guedes came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Choa FC's Célio Pitta. But to his dismay, Célio Pitta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Elias Antunes charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elias Antunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pirapitinga booed when Choa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Choa FC's Celso Vieira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silas Guedes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elias Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Silas Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Célio Pitta might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silas Guedes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
