Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Wilton Tróia took the kick off in the first half of the match. With 13 minutes on the clock, Douglas Azevedo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Barreira EC! In the last second Toninho Teixeira throw himself and got hold of the ball when Wilton Tróia in the 18thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. João Francisco Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chicão Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Cícero Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Toninho Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Procos's João Francisco Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chicão Miranda in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chicão Miranda in the 38th minute of play forced Procos's goalkeeper João Francisco Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chicão Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Francisco Porto having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chicão Miranda to make the kick off. When Hermínio Diniz fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barreira EC's protests and gave Hermínio Diniz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Procos booed when Barreira EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermínio Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th match minute, Barreira EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl Cabral to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thomás Senna during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Toninho Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cícero Dante's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Toninho Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cícero Dante in the 64th minute of play. Leandro Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Ronaldinho da Silveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barreira EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Procos the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Barreira EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! In the 72nd minute, Procos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Chicão Miranda fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Chicão Miranda who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of João Francisco Porto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Barreira EC's Luiz Bezerra got a free kick in the 78th minute. After 79 played minutes, Procos's José Carlos Palmeira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Toninho Teixeira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Procos reached it. Luiz Bezerra kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute of the match José Carlos Palmeira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Toninho Teixeira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Barreira EC's zone, Cícero Dante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toninho Teixeira came out of the goal and Cícero Dante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute, José Carlos Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chicão Miranda's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, João Francisco Porto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Procos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
