Carlos Eduardo Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Teixeira having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Nilgolzerazon's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime de Lara came free, but Mateus de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Teixeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Eduardo Tande in the 75th minute. Mateus de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime de Lara in the 79th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benê Vieira in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateus de Almeida saved Nilgolzerazon from getting behind. In the 89th minute, Jaime de Lara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Promissao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Nilgolzerazon's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
