Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Juturnaiba SS's Falcão Pitta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Promissao's Dênis Penha got a free kick in the 4th minute. The supporters of Juturnaiba SS booed when Promissao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laércio Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Paulinho Batista fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hugo Teixeira, passed just outside the right post. Belchior Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 14 minutes, Falcão Pitta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juturnaiba SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Falcão Pitta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Juturnaiba SS's zone, Benê Vieira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Messias came out of the goal and Benê Vieira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Belchior Marques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Hugo Teixeira made a huge save. Hugo Teixeira was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Falcão Pitta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Falcão Pitta really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Benê Vieira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emanuel Messias having to make a save. 36 minutes into the match, Promissao's goalkeeper Hugo Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Belchior Marques. Falcão Pitta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Belchior Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 played minutes Promissao got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Dantas. In the 42nd play minute Belchior Marques came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hugo Teixeira. 2-0. César Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by Falcão Pitta got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a defensive mix-up in Promissao's zone, Falcão Pitta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Teixeira came out of the goal and Falcão Pitta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Belchior Marques came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Juturnaiba SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Belchior Marques couldn't finish the play. Hugo Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Falcão Pitta, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Jorginho Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Juturnaiba SS's Emanuel Messias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benê Vieira in the 68th minute of play. Promissao's Hugo Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Falcão Pitta in the 72nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Benê Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Promissao's supporters rose to their feet, but Benê Vieira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Messias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Jaime de Lara got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Paulinho Batista charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulinho Batista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benê Vieira got free with Emanuel Messias in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Benê Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Albertino Corrêa fell near the penalty area in the 99th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juturnaiba SS's protests and gave Albertino Corrêa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 99th match minute, Juturnaiba SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertino Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. Promissao's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
