Hieronim Barowicz started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Benê Britto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Eduardo Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 10 minutes into the game, Tacitateua's Enéas Cunha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateus de Almeida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Nilgolzerazon were furious when André Leão was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enéas Cunha in the 24th minute of play forced Nilgolzerazon's goalkeeper Mateus de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateus de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enéas Cunha in the 34th minute of play. After some careless play in the Nilgolzerazon defense, Jeremias Alcântara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateus de Almeida. The Nilgolzerazon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateus de Almeida should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Tacitateua booed when Nilgolzerazon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Acácio Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Nilgolzerazon getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Acácio Nunes hit a great ball. Benê Britto hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

61 minutes into the match, Nilgolzerazon's goalkeeper Mateus de Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enéas Cunha. When Enéas Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Tacitateua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enéas Cunha couldn't finish the play. David Pirani hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Nilgolzerazon defense, Enéas Cunha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateus de Almeida. The Nilgolzerazon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateus de Almeida should have stopped the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Nilgolzerazon's Hieronim Barowicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Fabiano Eger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Jeremias Alcântara took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Mateus de Almeida to make any attempt to save it. If Enéas Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enéas Cunha got free with Mateus de Almeida in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 96 minutes of play, Tacitateua's Enéas Cunha made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateus de Almeida was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tacitateua's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
