Feijao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Josenopolis's Dinei Sá got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sidney Leme in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Duarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joel Duarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedito Vieira went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Sidney Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Duarte having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Hamílton Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Josenopolis's zone, Benedito Vieira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Duarte came out of the goal and Benedito Vieira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 37 minutes of play, Feijao's Benedito Vieira made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Duarte was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41st minute, Lauro Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Willian Cerezo managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Josenopolis's Lenílson Prado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Lenílson Prado got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Benedito Vieira struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Joel Duarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Feijao.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dinei Sá was the one to do the kick off. If Sidney Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 minutes of play, Josenopolis's Dinei Sá made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Willian Cerezo was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Josenopolis's Joel Duarte got control of the ball when Sidney Leme tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Dinei Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Benedito Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Feijao's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedito Vieira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Duarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Danilo de Lara hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Sidney Leme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Joel Duarte made a huge save. When Feijao's Benedito Vieira in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Josenopolis's goalie prevented a goal. Dinei Sá's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Willian Cerezo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Hamílton Vidal hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Feijao had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
